STREET LAW TRAINING SCHEDULE (March 2009)
On February 6-8, ABA held a street law Training of Trainers session for 21 clinical students in Tsakhkadzor. There were 6 students from Gavar State University’s law clinic, 5 students from Civil Society Development Center of Syunik Law clinic, 5 from Gyumri Progress University’s clinic, 3 from Yerevan State University Law clinic and 2 from Open University’s clinic.

INTRODUCING ARMENIA’S FIRST LEGAL WRITING TEXTBOOK (May 2008)
Yerevan State University Law School (YSU) with ABA ROLI’s assistance has developed and published Armenia’s first textbook on Legal Writing and Analysis. The textbook is intended for practical use and may serve as a guide for the instruction of writing and document drafting rules. As well, it can be used by other Armenian law schools, who intend to incorporate similar courses into their curriculum.

The opening of Yerevan’s first pro bono legal clinic proved worthy of celebration on September 2, with representatives from the Armenian government and judicial system, law schools, nongovernmental organizations, international donor institutions and the media in attendance.
